Jaimie's Story
I moved to Paris my senior year so technically I didn't graduate from Tulsa Memorial but I'm still part of of the class of '77. I grew up in Tulsa and probably will never go back but I'm proud to be from there. I'm not in touch with any of you from those days but when I think of my childhood and my school days, you are who springs to mind.
After high school I went to KU and then when my parents moved to Houston I transferred to UT. I graduated with a BA in French and went back to France for a while. When I came back to Houston I alternated between secretarial work and selling cosmetics. I fin...Expand for more
ally got my teaching certificate from U of H and taught high school French for 5 years. I got married in '92 and we moved to Saudi in '93. We lived there for 3 years and had a son. We lived in Abu Dhabi for 4 years and then moved back to Houston. Since then we've moved pretty regularly: Philly, Hotlanta, and now Abu Dhabi again. I'd love to move back to Houston, buy an old house with a big garden and have as many cats and dogs and hamsters as I want. I haven't worked since we moved to Saudi so I keep busy knitting, cooking, painting, traveling, doing yoga and the occasional community theatre.
